SWIMMING
Chagford Swimming Pool is an open air, river fed public pool, set on the banks of the Teign.
Opened in 1933. It is the largest open-air, fresh-water swimming pool in the south west.

The Club's ground - 5 acres broad and
parade-ground flat - was carved out of the lower slopes of Meldon Hill.
The envy of many visiting teams.
The Club successfully manages teams from primary school age upwards - all are welcome

Formed at the turn of the twentieth century, Chagford's football club has prided itself in providing access to the game for the local community. Based at the War Memorial Playing Fields, the Club enjoys sharing some of the finest facilities and grounds to be found in Devon.

Chagford Running Club
Local friendly group catering for runners of all
ages and abilities.
We meet every Monday at 7pm at The Pavilion, War Memorial Playing Fields, and on Saturdays at 10am in Chagford, or nearby, for relaxed 5-10k runs.
All runs end with tea and biscuits, or even a bacon butty!
